Welcome to remoteplanet!

Travel with me to some of the most pristine, wild and remote places on Earth

Already as a child, travelling has been my passion. Over time, I became more and more interested in experiencing regions off the beaten track. There is nothing more rewarding than leaving everyday life behind for a while, only concentrating on where-to-hike, where-to-camp and what-to-cook. If you feel the same, I hope I can give you some inspiration for places you should not miss! I'm looking forward to share and discuss ideas and experiences.

Each region shown below (and more, hopefully!) will be introduced in a tour report sharing my trekking experiences. Travel information on the regions are provided accordingly. During my latest trip I did the southernmost trek on Earth on Isla Navarino. Other adventures have led me to explore remote regions like Sarek, Cerro Castillo and Lago Jeinimeni. And even in the surroundings of Stockholm, my current residence, and Germany's low mountain ranges, there is a lot to discover.
